Belly dancing at Beltain Festival, 2011

Welcoming the beginning of May, celebrating the end of winter and the coming of summer, this year's Beltain Festival was as joyful as previous. The weather was beautiful, we had sunshine. The atmosphere was relaxing and yet magical.

As part of the belly dance group, we carried our antlers high and proud as we honour dignified deer. We dance about freedom, providence and gracefulness.
